“I believe that without doing BTEC Performing Arts I wouldn’t be in the position I am today - which is a D*D*D* student going to Leeds Conservatoire in September,” says Monika who is now studying BA (Hons) Voice (Performance and Pedagogy).
“I chose BTEC Performing Arts at Kingston College as I knew that it was the only path that made sense to me to be able to train and further develop my skills for the industry. I chose it not only because of my love and passion for performing, but also because I thrive in creative, hands-on environments where I can collaborate with others. The course's focus on practical projects prepared me and my classmates for our futures.
“Kingston College stood out for its facilities and opportunities. For me, this course wasn’t just about learning; it was about growing as an artist (under the wing of an amazing staff member and students who supported you through it all) and preparing for a career where creativity and adaptability are key.
“I was drawn to BTEC Performing Arts because it's a hands-on, creative course that lets me build a portfolio of work. BTECs are respected by universities and employers for their focus on real-world skills. BTEC Performing Arts has given me the chance to explore my strengths in acting, devising, singing and technical theatre, all while gaining industry experience.”
