First-year student Damian is already laying strong foundations for a future career in civil engineering through our T Level in Design & Development for Engineering & Manufacturing.
Inspired by family members who work within the sector, Damian enrolled at Kingston College with a clear ambition to gain the knowledge and skills needed for a successful engineering career.
Alongside developing technical understanding in the classroom, Damian will complete a 45-day industry placement, giving him valuable experience of working within the engineering sector. After college, he hopes to secure a civil engineering apprenticeship.
"I've really enjoyed my time on the course so far. The tutors are supportive, the other students are great to learn alongside and the lessons are helping me develop practical skills and technical knowledge. It feels like the right path towards the career I want."
