As part of the Macmillan Coffee Morning fundraiser, our Hospitality & Catering team hosted a Bake A Cake competition for Merton staff and students to take part in, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer. We are delighted to announce that a staggering £573.00 was raised, over double the target that the team was hoping for.
The winning staff entry was awarded to our ESOL Curriculum Manager Dorota, who baked an amazing lemon curd cheesecake. Chef Bernie and Pastoral Tutor Steph judged the student entries and selected the winners Dua, Yalini and Irina - and the two staff feedback winners were Alfie and Damarie.
A huge thank you to all staff and students for their fantastic contributions, which helped raise money for such a worthy charity.
