As part of National T Levels Week, Kingston College is celebrating the power of employer partnerships after T Level in Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing students visited Thames Water's Hogsmill Wastewater Treatment Works for a valuable hands-on industry experience.

The visit gave students the opportunity to explore the water industry first-hand, gaining insight into the day-to-day operations of a major utility provider and discovering the wide range of career opportunities available within the sector.

Thames Water has been a strong supporter of T Levels, having already hosted more than 36 T Level students across its business, equating to over 1,620 days of industry placement experience. Students have completed placements in a variety of departments, including Finance, Recruitment and Operations, contributing to teams while developing valuable workplace skills.

A huge thank you to Thames Water for providing our T Level Engineering students with such an incredible industry experience. Strong employer partnerships like this are vital in helping students develop the skills, confidence and experience they need to succeed in the workplace.

We are proud to work alongside organisations that are investing in future talent and supporting the next generation of engineers. Thank you to everyone involved in making these opportunities possible.
