For Lily-Mai, studying a T Level in Education & Early Years is an important step towards achieving her dream of becoming a primary school teacher. She chose the qualification because of the progression opportunities it offers, including valuable UCAS points and a clear route into higher education.
Alongside her classroom studies, Lily-Mai will complete a substantial industry placement, gaining first-hand experience that will help prepare her for university and her future career.
She is currently exploring progression opportunities, including the possibility of studying Primary Education at Roehampton University.
Outside of her studies, Lily-Mai is also interested in joining the Kingston College Student Ambassador scheme.
Lily-Mai said: "I wanted a qualification that would help me progress to university while also giving me practical experience. The T Level is perfect because it combines both. I feel like I'm already developing skills that will be really useful when I become a primary school teacher in the future."
