As part of National T Levels Week, we are celebrating the students who are building the skills and experience needed for successful careers in industry.
First-year student Ezra is studying T Level in Design & Development for Engineering & Manufacturing and already has a clear vision for his future.
Engineering runs in the family, with both Ezra's father and grandfather working as electrical engineers. Their influence inspired him to pursue the subject and explore a career in the industry himself.
The T Level's combination of technical learning and a significant industry placement appealed to Ezra, providing a route that combines academic study with practical experience. Following completion of the course, Ezra hopes to secure an Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship.
"Choosing a T Level has been a really good decision for me. I've enjoyed learning about different areas of engineering and developing skills that I know employers are looking for. Knowing I'll also gain industry experience makes the qualification even more valuable. I'd definitely recommend the course to anyone interested in engineering."
