Second-year student Arloot is among the many students benefiting from the opportunities provided through T Levels.
Currently studying T Level Design & Development for Engineering & Manufacturing, Arloot is completing a 45-day industry placement with British Airways, where he is gaining experience of engineering within a large and complex organisation. The placement is giving Arloot the opportunity to develop technical and professional skills while exploring potential career pathways within the engineering sector.
"One of the things I've enjoyed most about the T Level is being able to connect what we learn in college with real industry experience. My placement has helped me build confidence, develop new skills and think seriously about my future career. I'd recommend the course to anyone interested in engineering because it gives you a great foundation for the next step."
Following his T Level, Arloot plans to either progress to university or pursue an apprenticeship in civil or aerospace engineering.
