Andersen achieved the highest possible grade, D*D*D* in BTEC Travel with Aviation - equivalent to three A* grades at A Level - and has now taken the first step towards his dream career after being accepted onto Ryanair’s Cabin Crew training programme.
“I chose this course because of my passion and dedication towards working within the aviation industry and learning about it, alongside gaining more knowledge of Travel & Tourism.
“The thing I most enjoyed were the residentials such as Barcelona, Salou and Amsterdam, and other trips to Thorpe Park and Heathrow British Airways SEP day. I also loved the teachers and the number of friends I’ve made.
“The course has helped me progress into my future by helping me know what happens in the aviation industry and what is required to work in it and how to be successful. Thankfully, I have been accepted to universities and Ryanair for training – it’s my dream career to be cabin crew.
“I have grown to be a responsible and more confident person. Before college I was shy and worried about what to expect, but now I am confident and strive to reach my goals and if I don’t reach them – to never give up.
“I am proud of where I am now in training with Ryanair, thanks to the course, but also because of how far I have come and changed for the better, as well as achieving high grades. I have learnt so much and come so far.”
