Our Crafting the Wandle exhibition at the historic Canons House and Grounds is officially open! More than 80 Merton Adult Learning students are exhibiting work inspired by the River Wandle in stained glass, embroidery, painting and calligraphy, alongside textile artists from Sustainable Merton and the Preloved Studio.
We were thrilled to be joined by the Mayor of Merton on Thursday evening who introduced the exhibition at our Private View. It was a wonderful celebration of creativity, community and our connection to nature and the local environment. We couldn’t be more proud of our incredibly talented students and their tutors.
The exhibition continues until 25 July, Monday to Friday 10:00 to 16:00 and Saturdays 10:00 to 14:00. Come and explore the beautiful works on display, including many items for sale. View the Exbhibition Catalogue here
