This year’s Earth Day Competition 2026, inspired by the theme “People for the Planet,” challenged students across our colleges to become environmental changemakers and inspire positive action.
Students were invited to create a poster, video or audio campaign encouraging their peers to make a difference to the planet. Entries focused on raising awareness, promoting education and inspiring action on environmental issues. Participants were asked to demonstrate the positive changes they wanted people their age to make, explain why these actions matter, and show how their message could motivate others to get involved.
The competition showcased an impressive range of creative and thought-provoking submissions, highlighting students’ passion for sustainability and their commitment to protecting the environment. See images below of just a few of the entries.
