Level 2 Electrical Installation students enjoyed an exclusive behind‑the‑scenes visit to Kingston’s brand new Kingfisher Leisure Centre on Fairfield Road, thanks to Mike Saddington and the team at Pellikaan Construction.
Students and staff were welcomed on site for a guided preview of the major redevelopment project, where they met the electrical contractors responsible for bringing the building’s power systems to life. The visit offered a rare opportunity to see electrical installation in action within a live construction environment, giving learners a practical understanding of the scale, safety requirements and technical precision involved.
Students received a full health and safety induction from Mike before embarking on an interactive walk‑through of the developing leisure centre observing real‑time installation work.
