Level 2 Health & Social Care students at Kingston College have been enjoying their industry placements at Galsworthy House Nursing Home in Kingston.
The students have enjoyed meeting and helping the elderly residents with daily tasks and have been providing lots of friendly company and conversation.
Health & Social Care Lecturer, Pheonah Sentamu, said: “The students found the opportunity has helped them improve their communication skills with different types of service users and help them put into practice theory learnt in recent classes. One of the students is also considering applying for a job there as they have developed an interest in this field of work following the work experience.”
