Our courses are designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge needed to care for others in a broad range of health or social care settings. You may decide to take on a role with the elderly, children or young people, terminally ill clients, individuals with mental health problems, people with learning difficulties or people with dementia. Some people prefer to visit clients at home whilst others enjoy being part of a large team in a care facility.
Our brand new, modern Health & Social Care Hub provides students with the opportunity to practice in simulated hospital wards and home environments, honing their practical skills in the care sector. This new facility includes a Virtual Reality teaching space with state-of-the-art Metaverse technology, making learning enjoyable and interactive.

I enjoyed my placement and learned a lot. I gained extra knowledge about nursing and looking after vulnerable adults which supported my UCAS Personal Statement in terms of having experience in the health sector.
I had the opportunity to receive First Aid training at College which enabled me to become competent with lifelong skills that are relevant to my dream career of nursing. I also enjoyed a trip to Germany with course mates and lecturers, which was fun getting to hang out with each other in a calmer environment.
Kingston College is the best college because the staff are very supportive and understanding. You will never regret enrolling at Kingston because they have a variety of courses suitable for every individual's interests. One more thing, the timetables are flexible which will give you time to engage in extra-curriculum activities.
