This qualification is designed to increase learners' awareness and understanding of behaviour that challenges and its effects. Learners will have the opportunity to explore understanding behaviour, positive support and the importance of communication in education, health and social care sectors.
This qualification would be valuable to learners already working in education and health and social care settings.

Entry Requirements
This course is for adult learners 19+. It would be desirable if learners had GCSE grade 4/C in English and /or ESOL/EFL. -
Course Content
To be awarded the qualification, learners are required to successfully complete the following mandatory units:-Understand Behaviour That Challenges

Course Structure
The course will be delivered on Wednesdays from 9.30-2.30 with a blended learning approach.Teaching will start from the w/c 24th February 2025 and run until July 2025.

Assessment Details
The Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health is internally assessed using a portfolio of evidence including practical and theoretical assessments.
