“My BTEC has given me the opportunity to be selected for an amazing Apprenticeship in accountancy, showing that you don't always need to do A Levels or go to University to have a successful career." KATIE BELL, BTEC IN BUSINESS
“I genuinely believe that it was the best decision of my life. Doing this course has made me love business and education even more. I met amazing people and learned a lot. I wanted to complete my educational journey in an exciting environment with exceptional teaching. The style of teaching really suited me - and allowed me to also have a social life. The lecturers were extremely supportive.”
"I opted for a BTEC as they allow you to specialise in just one subject that you are particularly interested in, unlike with A Levels. My BTEC course allowed me to study the different aspects of business in much more depth. BTECs also allow you to be more independent and take responsibility for your own learning, as you have to complete coursework in your own time. It allows you to be more creative and you can learn so much more as you often do a lot of your own research, helping to expand your knowledge."
Katie achieved Triple Distinction*, the equivalent of 3 A* at A Level, and has begun an Accounting Apprenticeship at Blick Rothenberg.
"The course has made me think in different ways, analyse data and information, plan better and be more self aware."
Pippa King, Lead Nurse for Safer Staffing at Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, who graduated with a First Class Honours Degree and Distinction in our Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship
"If you are in management or pre senior position and looking to gain a broader understanding of all business aspects, I would recommend attending this course. You can put the principles straight into your business practice."
Hannah is Director of Membership and Partnerships at signing charity, Makaton and is one of our Chartered Manager Degree Apprentices
"The people I have met so far whilst completing my course, both students and tutors have been amazing. I can't recommend the college/university and the course highly enough. As an adult learner who has been out of the academic environment for well over a decade, I have found the move back into education much easier than I expected, this I attribute to everyone involved."
John Betteridge, Chartered Manager Degree Apprentice and Director at JVB Solutions

Dale Archer achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Business at Kingston College. He says: “The tutors were simply amazing. They couldn't have been any more helpful. They really know their stuff and are experts in their own field. The feedback they provide for all assignments is extremely detailed, clear and fair.”
BTEC Triple Distinction* student Ayan Shah-Khan studied Business with us. He is now at UCL studying BSc (Hons) Information Management for Business.
Ayan says: “My tutors were fundamental to my success. I definitely would not be in the position I am in without the assistance of Kingston College.
“I didn't really know what to expect from the college experience. I was pleasantly surprised about how easy-going everyone was and how generally the teaching was strict when needed, but otherwise calm and collected, which suited me tremendously.
“While I was at Kingston, me and a few friends definitely took advantage of the sports that used to happen during the lunch period as a good way to blow off some steam during the deadline period. Otherwise, teachers were always very readily available to help you out when needed, so that was something I definitely utilised to the maximum.
“I have fantastic memories of my two former tutors, Gaby and Christine, who were both fundamental to my success at Kingston. Not only them, but Rohan and Eshan who were always teachers who made learning both fun and interesting. You always felt comfortable with these teachers talking about anything and generally having a comfortable relationship with, which is why I feel like they were a significant reason as to why I did how I did at Kingston.
“Kingston College is a place where teachers genuinely want to push you to your limits and help you make the best of your abilities. It was an immense investment for myself and my future.”
