HR Support Apprenticeship - Level 3

The HR Support Apprenticeship is particularly suitable for those working in a large to medium organisation as part of the HR function delivering front line support to managers and employees, or as a HR manager in a small organisation.

Employers always need competent and efficient HR staff. Learners will gain a qualification for things that they already can do and are competent at, whilst developing new skills and acquiring valuable background knowledge which will also lead to additional qualifications.

Apprenticeships are flexible and are designed to offer a structured programme of learning to fit around the needs of the individual and the employer and gain recognised qualifications.

  • Entry Requirements

You must be in suitable employment to do an apprenticeship. Ideally an apprentice will also have Maths and English at grade C/4 and above.

Note that an apprentice cannot sit their end point assessment without a level 2 qualification gained in Maths and English.

End Point Assessment (EPA) is the final stage that an apprentice goes through to complete their apprenticeship. The apprentice must show their learning to an independent end-point assessor and the overall grade available is distinction, pass or fail.

The apprenticeship duration is a minimum of 18 months plus EPA. One day a week at College, with a minimum four days per week employed in suitable employment.
