“I had loads of opportunities at Kingston College which I am very grateful for and during my first year I played for the women’s football academy. Once I left school I knew I wanted to play football and study alongside. Whilst studying my fitness instructor course I was part of the 'Us Girls' scheme and I began leading gym inductions to new gym members. We’re very lucky to have great facilities here, especially the gym. During my final year I completed my Personal Training qualification which helped me gain loads of confidence and I was also part of the PT Academy. I had the opportunity to lead sessions to internal and external clients and was invited to a Royal Bank of Scotland Employability Conference in London where I spoke to students about Personal Training, encouraging them to look into a fitness career.
“All the teachers during my time at college were great! They will push you in the best possible way and help you accomplish the grade you want to achieve. I had an amazing tutor, Lisa Boland, who is very intelligent and knowledgeable. Lisa supported me throughout and got the best out of me and certainly helped me get to where I am today, so I can’t thank her enough. I made a lovely bunch of friends throughout my time here."
