On 4th December, Kingston College was delighted to host a Travel & Tourism and Aviation Discovery Day for learners from several local secondary schools. The students participated in a taster session and heard from industry professionals alongside London Metropolitan University and the University of Surrey. Kingston College alumni were also in attendance to share their journeys and experiences. From studying at Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Kingston to working in hospitality in Florida and Turkey, they spoke about study and career options across the sector.
One teacher said: "My students felt so positive about their futures" and another school commented: "These sessions are always well-organised and very informative. They give our students real insight into courses and careers and help them feel more confident about their next steps. Meeting teachers, current students and professionals makes a big difference."
