Safeguarding

Our Foundation Learning and Employability teams have been hard at work securing guest speakers to inspire and guide our Foundation Learning students toward exciting work experience and employment opportunities.

We were delighted to host Kealy and Callum (a former Carshalton Student) from NHS Project Search, affiliated with St. George's Hospital.

The NHS Project Search program is celebrating their 10 year anniversary and offers Supported Internships, providing young people aged 16 to 24 with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP) or other forms of Special Educational Needs (SEN) the chance to develop essential skills for employment.

These internships serve as a crucial step in the employment journey, equipping participants with the necessary skills to secure meaningful jobs.

Additionally, we welcomed Tak Tang from Age UK (Merton). Tak spoke about the valuable services they provide and his role within the volunteer team.
