Lisena Merdhoci joined Kingston College in 2021 and completed a Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments which inspired her to then complete a Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies. Lisena’s goal is to start her own holistic therapy business and to continue to learn more about Oncology and Naturopathy in order “to help, support and teach others how to live a healthy life and prevent diseases.”
Lisena says: “I am so pleased with the results I achieved thanks to the tutors who are so competent, professional and caring. They support you to become a better version of yourself not just in this profession but even in your everyday life pushing you to overcome your fears and insecurities.
“I learned how to make my own natural products on the course and also the practicalities of running my own business. I learned different holistic treatments which when combined give better results to the client, how to deal with difficult clients and any possible complaints without panicking, and I also learned to treat those living with cancer.
“My advice to anyone thinking of applying is just do it if you're ready to grow and to fulfil your dreams. My colleagues and tutors will always be part of my life and my success. Thank you to my Kingston College family and thanks for making this journey so special and unique, for making me a better person and an excellent therapist.”
