Carshalton College was pleased to welcome Ashley, Managing Director of Superstar Campz and SkillzUK, who visited the College to speak with Level 3 Sports students about his professional journey and experiences within the sports sector.
Superstar Campz delivers high‑energy holiday activity camps for children, while SkillzUK provides football classes and parties for young people aged 2–11. Now recognised as the largest football programme in Croydon and Sutton, SkillzUK continues to grow under Ashley’s leadership.
Drawing on his background as a football coach at Premier League Academy level, as well as his work teaching sport in local schools and nurseries, Ashley shared insights into building successful sports businesses. He discussed the challenges he faced, the passion that drives his work, and the importance of creating positive opportunities for children.
Students gained valuable knowledge about entrepreneurship, sports education and career pathways, with the opportunity to ask questions about running a business and developing a career in the sports industry.
