Kingston College is partnering with the literary agency David Higham Associates and Wimbledon Books on a creative writing competition for Year 10s in South West London.
In the summer term, writers will participate in a workshop to practise their creative writing skills, learn more about the publishing industry and where writing can take them career-wise.
After the workshop, they will submit a 1,000 word piece. The longlisted writers will be invited to a prize-giving ceremony at Kingston College's Creative Industries Centre on Thursday 4 July.
