South Thames Colleges Group (STCG) is proud to announce that we have been selected as the South London Partnership sub‑regional lead within the newly launched London Construction Technical Excellence College (CTEC) skills provider network.
CTEC, a pan‑London collaboration supported by the Greater London Authority, confirmed the four lead partners who will coordinate delivery of high‑quality construction skills training across London’s sub‑regions. These leads will work closely with employers, training providers, and industry specialists to shape and deliver an ambitious Construction Skills Package for the capital.
Sub‑regional leads:
- West London Alliance: HRUC (Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge Colleges)
- South London Partnership: South Thames Colleges Group
- Local London: Barnet and Southgate College & London South East Colleges
- Central London Forward: New City College
These partners are already collaborating with CTEC and the Greater London Authority to co-design training models, employer engagement activity, and pathways that respond to London’s construction and infrastructure needs.
Suna Marfe, Executive Director of Business Development & Partnerships at South Thames Colleges Group, commented:
“A strong construction skills pipeline is vital to London’s growth and future development. We are looking forward to representing the South London Partnership sub‑region while working alongside our Construction Technical Excellence College partners. Together, we will support more construction graduates into industry, strengthen collaboration with employers, and help shape impactful teacher‑industry exchange opportunities.”
As sub‑regional lead, STCG will support partners across South London to ensure learners gain the skills, experience, and opportunities needed to succeed in a fast‑evolving construction sector.
