Kingston College is delighted to welcome renowned stylist Rianna Henry as Lecturer for our brand-new Level 2 Women’s Hairdressing - Textured Hair Type Pathway.
A respected expert in textured hair, Rianna brings years of industry experience and a passion for representation within hairdressing education. Her appointment marks a significant step in the College’s commitment to ensuring its curriculum reflects the diversity of the community it serves.
The new course - launched after several years of development - aims to address a long‑standing gap in mainstream training, providing students with the skills and confidence to work with coils, curls and kinked hair. Rianna is proud to lead its first cohort.
“It’s vital that all hair textures are taught, understood and celebrated. I’m excited to help students feel empowered and truly industry ready. I’m incredibly proud to be leading the very first year the course is running,” she says.
Her role includes not only delivering technical training, but also championing an inclusive, modern approach to hairdressing that prepares learners for real‑world salons and clients.
