Kingston College Level 3 Technical Theatre and Media Make-Up students presented their Spring ‘Mythical Creatures’ exhibition. The students have worked incredibly hard since January to create every aspect of the production which was held in the College’s ACT Theatre to a packed audience.

Course tutor, Hannah Clementson, said: “I am so proud of our creative team on our technical theatre and media makeup courses for their live showcase this afternoon. The final results were exceptional.”

The Production Arts – Technical Theatre course develop a broad range of skills in all aspects of stage production and live events including lighting and sound design/operations, stage management, scenic design and construction working closely with internal and external creatives. This is a hands-on practical course in which you will benefit from crewing an exciting programme of events held in the College’s industry-standard Theatre.

The Level 3 Media Make-Up courses explore the thrilling world of hair, special effects makeup and prosthetics for stage and screen, which increasingly dominates the theatre and film industry. It provides a wealth of opportunities to explore your potential and develop an industry-standard skillset through creating and applying advanced prosthetics, postiche, body art, airbrushing techniques as well as period and fantasy hair design for theatre, film and fashion editorial.
