Creative Media and Film Students recently benefited from a visit by Dan from the Metropolitan Police Film Unit, who delivered an engaging and informative session on UK filming regulations.
The visit came at an ideal time, with students currently developing their Final Major Projects. Dan provided clear, practical guidance on securing permissions, filming in public spaces, and understanding professional responsibilities when working on location. His advice was enhanced by real-world examples drawn from industry experience, giving students valuable insight into professional practice.
We are grateful to Dan and the Metropolitan Police Film Unit for taking the time to support our students. The session proved both informative and impactful, making a meaningful contribution to their learning and project development.
