The Maths Education Innovation (MEI) Further Education Maths Challenge is a competition for post-16 students who are working towards improving their GCSE Mathematics grade.
Our maths teachers have been working tirelessly with the students, prepping them with all the necessary skills that they need to achieve victory.
The Merton College student maths team entered it again this month, with a steely determination to win! They took part in a maths Kahoot quiz and Tarsia activities across various levels.
The MEI competition develops learners' problem solving skills and tackles the GCSE maths curriculum. Well done to all of our students who took part!
The winners will be competing on a national basis against other schools and colleges on 30 March 2023.
