Media and Fine Art students have reached a major industry milestone with a collaborative project now showcased on the Skyframe London platform.
Mark, Owen and Gisele worked in partnership with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) and Sysco Productions Ltd to produce an original video installation for Skyframe London. The project provided students with direct experience of professional creative practice, including pre-production training delivered by UCA and Sysco Productions Ltd.
The finished work combines cinematography, animation and 3D rendering to explore the space between reality and the virtual. The narrative transitions from a personal bedroom environment into a digitally rendered world, before returning to the ocean, interwoven with animated sketches. The piece demonstrates a strong cross‑disciplinary collaboration between Media and Fine Art students, produced to industry standards.
The installation opens on 6 May at 1.00pm at Fen Court, 1 Fen Court, London, EC3M 5BN.
