“My name is Kate Downes and I am one of the team teaching on our great new BTEC in Sports Coaching and Development.
“The course is a mixture of practical and theory which we link directly to the real world of sports coaching, giving you the chance to really understand the opportunities open to you in sport.
In my unit you will have the opportunity to run live screening tests on a client and conduct professional physical and mental health checks. Students are assessed in a variety of ways giving you the opportunity to really show us your best work.
