On Wednesday 4 March, Access to Science students will host a charity bake sale - with plenty of delicious home-made cakes, brownies and cookies - in the Kingston College atrium to support St George’s Hospital Charity, raising funds to enhance care for patients, families and frontline staff.
The charity is committed to “Better Care, Healthier Lives,” funding everything from specialist equipment to improved patient environments. For many students - some have applied to study at St George’s University this September - the event is also a meaningful way to give back to a hospital that may shape their future careers.
Every donation will directly support projects that improve patient care at St George’s.
The Access to Science class invites staff and students to stop by on 4 March, enjoy a treat - and help make a positive difference. And if you're unable to join us on the day, you can still donate to their Just Giving pages: click here for Group A and here for Group B.
