BTEC Graphic Design students produced some stunning illustrations for a book written about famous author Roald Dahl, My Neighbour: Roald Dahl by Andrzej Potocki, which has recently been published.
The first year students created the illustrations for the book for their work experience and were recognised by Potocki, a former neighbour of Dahl’s in Great Missenden, in his Acknowledgements describing himself as fortunate to collaborate with them:
“I was fortunate to collaborate with students and staff at the Creative Industries Centre, Kingston College, part of the South Thames Colleges Group, who provided the illustrations. My thanks go to the lecturers, Alison Richards and Nicky Hillard, and all students on the BTEC L3 National Diploma course in Graphic Design.”
