Last week, we were delighted to welcome representatives from Go‑Ahead London to Kingston College, where they spoke with our Motor Vehicle students about the exciting Apprenticeship opportunities available within the company.
Michael Stone, Satellite Manager at Merton Bus Garage, returned to the College alongside two members of the recruitment team. Michael is a proud former Kingston College student, having completed his Level 2 IMI Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification here in 2015–2016.
Reflecting on his journey, Michael shared: “I didn’t enjoy learning in a traditional classroom setting - I learned best by doing. That’s when I realised an Apprenticeship was the right path for me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support I had from the teachers at Kingston College.”
