Foundation Learning students at Kingston College recently enjoyed a truly memorable and inspiring visit to BalletBoyz, thanks to the warmth, professionalism and generosity of the BalletBoyz team. The experience provided students with a welcoming and inclusive introduction to the world of professional dance, leaving a lasting impression.

Throughout the visit, BalletBoyz staff engaged students with care and enthusiasm, adapting activities to individual needs and creating an environment where everyone felt confident, involved and supported. It was inspiring to see students so fully engaged, expressing joy, confidence and creativity throughout the session.

Following the visit, Eireann Brooks, Curriculum Lead – Foundation Learning, shared heartfelt thanks with the BalletBoyz team, highlighting how meaningful the experience was for the students and how opportunities like this create positive memories that stay with them long after the day itself. BalletBoyz echoed this sentiment, sharing how valuable the session was for their own dancers and how much they enjoyed welcoming the students into their studio space.

The partnership is set to continue, with plans already underway for the students to return to the BalletBoyz studio on 2 June. This extended session will include filming for a piece being screened in the BalletBoyz summer show, offering students a further opportunity to be part of a professional creative process.

We are extremely grateful to BalletBoyz for their ongoing support, openness and commitment to inclusive creative learning, and we look forward to developing this partnership even further.
