Level 2 Engineering learners at Kingston College had the exciting opportunity to visit Imperial College London, one of the world’s leading universities for science, technology and engineering. The visit was designed to inspire learners by showcasing cutting-edge research, state-of-the-art facilities and the diverse career pathways available in engineering.
Learners explored the campus and gained insight into what studying at a top-tier institution looks like. They met academic staff and current students, learned about innovative projects and saw how engineering principles are applied to solve real-world challenges – from sustainable energy solutions to advanced robotics.
This experienced aimed to broaden their understanding of higher education opportunities, motivate them to set ambitious goals and connect classroom learning to future careers in engineering and technology.
