Congratulations to Carshalton College students Rachel and Emily whose outstanding artwork has been selected for this year’s Origins Creatives Exhibition at the renowned Mall Galleries in London.

Their pieces were chosen from over 622 entries submitted by colleges across the country.

Emily impressed with her evocative painting and ceramic work titled Ancient History, while Rachel captured imaginations with her whimsical painting Mice for Afternoon Tea. Both works were selected by the Curator of Creative Debuts, earning a coveted place in the national exhibition.

The Origins Creatives Exhibition offers young artists the rare opportunity to showcase their work in a prestigious public gallery in the heart of London. It celebrates emerging talent from across the UK and is a platform for creative students to share their vision with a wider audience.

This year’s exhibition will be open to the public at the Mall Galleries from 16–19 July 2025. Visitors are warmly invited to attend during the following opening times:

  • Wednesday 16 July: 10am–6pm

  • Thursday 17 July: 1pm–6pm

  • Friday 18 July: 10am–6pm

  • Saturday 19 July: 10am–5pm
