Carshalton College has renewed its collaboration with the Under Armour Academy, marking the second consecutive year of this exciting initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing future athletic talent.
Level 2 and Level 3 Sport students recently participated in the programme at Under Armour’s cutting-edge testing facility in Battersea Power Station. The experience provided students with access to advanced performance assessments, tailored fitness plans, and complimentary training apparel.
High-performing participants may even earn a coveted 12-month sponsorship through the Academy’s Young Athletes Programme.
Students described the opportunity as highly rewarding, gaining valuable insights into their physical and mental capabilities while applying classroom knowledge in a real-world environment. Their efforts were recognised by industry professionals, with feedback designed to help them prepare for future challenges in the sports sector.
Additional testing sessions are scheduled for the new year, offering students the chance to track progress and take on new athletic challenges—further strengthening the College’s commitment to developing the next generation of sports professionals.
