Three talented apprentices from Carshalton College have been recognised for their outstanding achievements at the London Region Construction Training Group (LRCTG) Awards 2025, held on 10 October 2025.

All three nominees received Highly Commended awards in their respective categories — an exceptional accomplishment that highlights their dedication and hard work within the construction industry.

  • Best Apprentice/Trainee – Joshua Simpson

  • Best Performance as a Mature Learner – Andrew Taylor

  • Best Performance in Continual Improvement – Brendan Mosscrop

Reflecting on the event, Joshua Simpson said:

“I consider it a great honour to achieve an award on behalf of Carshalton College. This was a fantastic event — motivational and uplifting. It was an honour to be surrounded by such exceptional people within the construction industry and to hear about their progression, how they got where they are today, and what they have achieved so far.”

Charlotte Howard, Business Partnership Manager at Carshalton College, added:

“It was wonderful to see our apprentices and their parents in attendance. It really highlights that, as a college group, we are our students’ biggest supporters. By nominating them, we’re not only celebrating their hard work but also showing them just how proud we are.”

The recognition demonstrates Carshalton College’s commitment to developing skilled, confident professionals who are making their mark in the construction industry.
