Level 2 and 3 Carpentry students visited the Excel Centre in London for Construction week.
They met with a number of construction companies and employers.
The students were able to see what each organisation offered students and how they could possibly support them and the college.
We plan to work with a number of these companies for work experience, placements and receive talks and presentations varying from Health and Safety, BIM software, Architecture and Online learning platforms.
Some of the companies we met were WOW NOW Hire, Design Analyze Optimize, Koplant Construction Training, Mates in Mind, Team VIY and Majenta.
The students got lots of information, helpful advice and guidance and samples!
