Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy students recently welcomed a group of dedicated volunteers from Kingston Hospital for a special day of relaxation and appreciation at the College. The visit was organised as a way of giving back to those who contribute so much to supporting patients and staff within the local community.
Throughout the day, students provided a range of professional treatments, including massages, hot stone therapy, facials, manicures and pedicures, offering volunteers the chance to unwind and enjoy a well‑deserved break. The experience not only allowed students to demonstrate their practical skills in a real‑world setting, but also gave them the opportunity to deliver high‑quality client care in a calm and supportive environment.
This initiative highlights the importance of community connections and provides students with valuable, industry‑relevant experience, while recognising and celebrating the vital work carried out by Kingston Hospital volunteers every day.
