Level 3 Beauty Therapy students from Kingston College recently visited the prestigious Richmond Harbour Hotel & Spa, where they gained invaluable insight into the workings of a luxury wellness environment and explored potential opportunities for work experience and future employment.
During the visit, students were able to use the professional spa equipment, experiencing first-hand the standards expected in industry settings. They also performed massage techniques under guidance, allowing them to put their classroom learning into practice in a real spa environment.
The experience gave students a deeper understanding of the skills, confidence and professionalism required to succeed in the beauty and spa sector. Staff at the Richmond Harbour Hotel & Spa also shared helpful career advice, highlighting potential pathways into the industry.
