Zoey Tsoi gained a Triple Distinction* on her Uniformed Protection Services BTEC, equivalent to 3 A* at A Level, and has accepted a place at top Russell Group university, University of Leeds. Their typical offer for Zoey’s chosen degree is grades AAB at A Level.
After embarking on A Levels and then enrolling for a year at another FE College, Zoey then came to Kingston where she excelled. She says: “I had originally started off doing A Levels but decided that a BTEC in Uniformed Protective Services might be better suited to my aspirations of becoming a police officer.
“I also did not start my BTEC course at Kingston College, I spent my first year at NESCOT College, but I wasn't sure that it was the correct environment for me to fully gain all the support I needed for my education.
“My plan after my BTEC was to apply to join the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship, but I had some issues regarding my application so instead I will be completing an undergraduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at University of Leeds.”
