The Careers team are delighted to announce that Jeffrey, an Art and Design student at South Thames College, has succeeded in winning an award from the University of the Creative Arts. Having assessed all entries for their fashion degree, the UCA programme directors were most impressed with both his written application and the portfolio of work he presented. Jeffrey has now been awarded funding support from the UCA Scholarship for Creative Excellence programme.
Jeffrey joined South Thames College on our ESOL 16-18 programme, working hard to gain his English Language and Maths qualifications. Moving on to explore his passion for Art and Design, he successfully progressed through all the course levels, graduating from the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Practice this summer. Winning this scholarship has been an amazing start to Jeffrey's university journey!
