South Thames College proudly hosted the annual South Thames Colleges Group Employer Awards Ceremony on Weds 27 Nov.
The event celebrated the incredible partnerships we have built with employers over the past year, highlighting the impact of their support on our students and community. Awards were presented in seven categories, including Social Action Project, Local Employer of the Year, and Outstanding Mentoring Support. See details below.
David Hughes CBE, Chief Executive of the Association of Colleges, opened the evening with an inspiring speech on the importance of strong relationships between FE colleges and employers in creating life-changing opportunities for young people.
The evening was filled with heartfelt stories of students whose learning journeys were transformed by the invaluable experiences and mentorship provided by our employer partners. A huge thank you to all the employers, students, and staff who made this celebration so memorable.
