Students at Kingston College captivated audiences this week with two impressive theatrical performances at the ACT Theatre. The productions showcased the talents of performers from the College’s Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts, with essential behind-the-scenes support from Level 3 BTEC Production Arts students specialising in technical theatre and media make-up.
The first production, The Dream Collector, transported audiences into a sinister dreamworld, blending suspense with imaginative storytelling. Meanwhile, the second play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, enchanted the audience with Shakespeare’s timeless tale of love and conflict.
Both productions highlighted the skill and passion of Kingston College students, demonstrating their ability to bring complex narratives to life with professional-level performances and production values. The collaboration between performers, tech teams, and make-up artists ensured high-quality theatrical experiences, reflecting the depth of training provided by the College’s performing arts programmes and reaffirming Kingston College’s reputation for fostering emerging talent in the performing arts industry.
