Students from South Thames College competed across several categories in this year’s London Skills Competition, representing English & Maths,  Electrical Installation and Health & Social Care.

English & Maths Students Win Second Place

We celebrated strong results with English & Maths students Omotoyosi, Franmel, Sophia and Yvonne securing second place after a demanding series of challenges. The group worked under pressure through a range of tasks designed to test problem‑solving, accuracy and communication. Their determination and teamwork earned them a well‑deserved podium finish.

Health & Social Care students Andrea, Billie, Kaci and Raihana also took part, completing a rigorous assessment that included a patient‑care simulation. Their brief required them to make a clinical bed, communicate effectively with a patient, take and record observations such as blood pressure, follow infection‑prevention procedures and produce a written report.

HSC

All participating students demonstrated remarkable skill, professionalism and commitment throughout the competition.

A tremendous effort from every South Thames College competitor – well done to all!
