Why did you chose to study Access and why did you chose Kingston College?
I chose to study an Access course because I was over 19 and wanted to go to university. This was the most suitable and accessible pathway for me to achieve that goal.
I chose Kingston College after researching several colleges, and it stood out as the best and most suitable place to study Access to Media Studies. Before applying, I visited the campus and was really impressed by the welcoming environment and how respectfully the staff treated everyone. I also received great recommendations from friends, which gave me even more confidence in my decision.
What are your plans after you complete your course?
After completing this course, I plan to continue my academic journey at Kingston University to study BA (Hons) Media Content and Communications – something I’m really passionate and excited about.
What was the favourite part of your course?
My favourite part of the course has been the practical projects – especially filmmaking and creating a live TV show. From the very beginning until the end, I’ve been enthusiastic about attending college because every day offered something new and exciting.
Any advice to those thinking about applying for your course?
My advice would be: go for it! This course is full of variety and covers so many different and engaging topics. You will never feel bored – in fact, you’re going to love it.
