Why did you chose to study Access and why did you chose Kingston College?
I always loved media but my working life got in the way of me being able to be a student as I was living on my own since 16, so I prioritised work over school but now I'm in a different position where I can focus on studies and the Access to Media Studies at Kingston College allowed me to do that!
Your plans after you complete your course?
I have been accepted to University of Hertfordshire to study BA (Hons) History with Film.
Favourite part of your course?
The essays! I have always been better at theoretical than physical work so being able to write a 2000 page essay comes second nature to me. Plus all the research I had to do about films I hadn't seen before which in turn improved my general knowledge about films.
Any advice to those thinking about applying for your course?
Stick it out and do the work! It's worth it by the end!
Any amazing tutors or met great new friends?
All my teachers helped me in different ways but my tutor Rob definitely helped me the most as he was s in constant communication with me on ways to improve my work with feedback and suggestions.
