Why did you chose to study an Access course and why did you chose Kingston College?
I chose Kingston College because it offered Access to Paramedic Science as I really want to be a paramedic! It was the only place I could find that actually offered this course in person - I travel all the way from north London Islington to come here and I’m glad I did.
Your plans after you complete your course?
I plan to go on to university to study Paramedic Science so I can become a paramedic.
Any thoughts on our incredible new Health & Social Care Hub?
It’s amazing! The hospital room feels like a real hospital, it has all the things you would need.
Any advice to those thinking about applying for your course?
Just do it! I have had such a good experience; the teachers are amazing and very supportive if you ask.
Any outstanding tutors or met great new friends?
Tutors Cat and Akin were both amazing and very supportive, I loved having them as my teachers. I was very nervous coming back to learning after being out of the education system for so long, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do it but they really get you through and encourage you. I’ve met some lovely people who I can’t wait to work alongside in the future when we all become paramedics. It was nice being around people with the same goals, it made the course easier as we were all working towards one goal.
