On Wednesday, 18 June 2025, the ESOL team hosted a lively and enriching Culture Day celebration. The event brought together staff and students to celebrate the diverse cultural backgrounds represented in our college community.
The morning was filled with engaging activities, including:
- Cultural presentations that showcased unique traditions, customs, and stories from various countries.
- Mini language lessons, where attendees picked up phrases in languages like Arabic, Spanish, Somali, and more.
- Fun games and quizzes that tested knowledge of languages and cultural facts.
- A display of traditional clothing, where participants wore or presented garments from their cultures, creating a colourful and festive atmosphere.
The event also featured vibrant traditional music and dance performances
