We are thrilled to share some fantastic news about eight of our Foundation Learning students who recently completed a highly successful week of work experience at Sainsbury’s Wandsworth. Congratulations to Hashir, Aaron, Selah, Amer, Grace, Archange, and Kyle for their outstanding performance, which has earned them praise from the store’s staff for their professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication. Thanks to Lukasz Romanowski (Manager) for giving our learners the opportunity.
During the week, these students embraced a wide range of tasks, including stock replenishment, customer service, shelf organisation, and supporting various behind-the-scenes operations. Their hard work and positive attitudes quickly made them invaluable team members. The students took on new challenges with eagerness, impressing their colleagues with their willingness to go above and beyond.
One of the highlights of their experience was shadowing managers across multiple departments, gaining insight into the day-to-day operations. This invaluable exposure provided the students with a profound understanding of how the store operates and the significance of each role in contributing to its success.
The feedback from the Sainsbury’s team was positive and encouraging. One team leader described the students as an absolute pleasure to work with. "They were focused, respectful, and eager to learn," the leader shared. "They took feedback on board straight away and got stuck in. Their positive attitudes made them a joy to have around."
This successful work experience not only demonstrates the students’ hard work and determination but also highlights the strong relationships between our educational institution and local businesses. We are incredibly proud of Hashir, Aaron, Ayman, Selah, Amer, Grace, Archange, and Kyle for their achievements, and we look forward to seeing them continue to excel in their future endeavours!
A huge thank you to Sainsbury’s Wandsworth for providing such a supportive and enriching environment for these students. Here's to many more success stories like this one!
